Beaches of Aceh

This is the same beach where the tsunami struck nearly 3 years ago. They say the wave was higher than the top of the coconut trees. It doesn't take much imagination to picture what it would have felt like to stand on that beach with that kind of wave approaching. But now, just like it was before, the ocean waves go in and out, the trees sway slightly with the wind, and the sun sets with magnificent splendor.
